My week so far

Long run Monday, intervals Wednesday, barre class today, and hoping to get in a few recovery miles tomorrow and a run with the mothers forum runners on Saturday.

It’s shaping up to be a good week!

Today I wore my new workout tank, a gift from my sister, and it made me smile 🙂

I’m on track for my fifteen miles a week, and looking forward to picking some races for the spring and summer! My only upcoming race right now is a half marathon in June – I’m hoping to find some other races before then 🙂

  1. Happy (belated) New Year! I admit to being very jealous of all the activity you are doing – I am recovering from a pulmonary embolism from a DVT I developed on my flight home from my November holiday in South Africa, and am not allowed to do anything that raises my heart rate. So I’m 4kg heavier thanks to festive eating, and restricted to leisurely walks for another 6 weeks or so! Whilst I’m very grateful to be alive, I’m desperate to get out there and run and move and get red-faced and sweaty again! Have a run for me, would you?

      1. Thanks Kelly! I went for my first 2 post PE runs this week – in fact, they were my first form of any exercise other than walking since 19 December! I managed 4km on Tuesday morning, and it felt so incredibly good to move again! Need to ease back into it slowly though as I tried to do too much this week and had a dismal cardio class last night – no energy! Baby steps… It’s good to see you posting again!
